Have you ever noticed, when reading online TTC sites, that there are all of these abbreviations? TTC, MIL, AF....the list goes on and on...these little abbreviations were made up so that we don't have to continously write out the long form of the word. For example AF is a lot easier to write out than Aunt Flo, especially when you write it over and over again.
